It’s Not Just Singing

I suppose I’m going to ruffle some feathers here but I feel burdened to write this. When I was serving quite recently, I found myself distracted by someone talking rather loudly. She was quite visible from where she was seated. While I don’t have anything against her personally, I think what she was doing, was wrong.

The session before the sermon starts, you know… when we sing some fast praise songs followed by a few slow worship songs… well, that’s not just singing. It’s part of the celebration itself. It’s praise and worship.

It’s not nice to talk when the service is going on. It’s also not nice to distract others who are worshipping.
